How exact age is calculated
Counting age is less trivial than subtracting years: months have different lengths and leap years add an extra day. The calculator counts full years first, then full months, then the remaining days, borrowing days from the previous month when needed.
Setting a second date is handy for forms that ask for your age on a specific day, for eligibility rules, or to know how old someone will be at an upcoming event.
The calculation happens entirely in your browser. Dates are never sent or stored, and there is no usage limit.
