At the resolution stored inside the PDF. JPG photos are extracted without re-compression.
Getting the original pictures back from a PDF
Taking screenshots of a PDF gives you low-resolution copies with page backgrounds around them. Extracting the images instead retrieves the actual files that were placed in the document, usually at far better quality.
It is a quick way to reuse product photos from a supplier catalogue, recover the pictures from a report when the originals are lost, or collect all illustrations from a presentation that was exported to PDF. Photos are saved as JPG exactly as stored, and other images are converted to lossless PNG.
Text and vector drawings are not images, so they are not included. Files are processed on isolated servers and deleted after 2 hours.
