Choosing the right size for your JPG
Every platform expects a different size, and uploading something too large is a silent problem: the site re-compresses it with its own settings and you lose control over how your image looks. Resizing to the target dimensions first means you decide what the final result looks like.
Our resizer uses a high quality resampling filter, which is what keeps text and fine lines readable instead of turning them into a soft mush. Shrinking is essentially lossless in perceived quality; enlarging beyond the original resolution will always look softer, because the extra pixels have to be invented.
Files are processed in the cloud and permanently deleted after 2 hours. No watermark is ever added to the result.
